Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VelocityAPI service, including the website at velocityapi.top and the Social Video Intelligence API (collectively, the "Service"), operated by VelocityAPI ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

VelocityAPI provides a programmatic API that returns structured metadata, view-velocity metrics and transcripts for publicly available videos on supported platforms. The Service is provided on a subscription basis through the plans described on our pricing page.

2. Accounts & API keys

On subscribing, you are issued an API key. You are responsible for keeping your key confidential and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at support@velocityapi.top if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service to violate any applicable law or the terms or rights of any third-party platform or content owner;
  • resell, sublicense or redistribute raw API responses as a substantially similar competing service;
  • attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas, authentication or security measures;
  • use the Service to infringe intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of any data returned by the Service complies with the policies of the originating platform and with applicable law.

4. Plans, fees & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our merchant of record and authorized reseller. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. Plans renew automatically until cancelled.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for refund eligibility.

6. Availability & changes

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above; continued use constitutes acceptance.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that results will be accurate, complete or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by applicable law in our place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@velocityapi.top.
